Day 1:Arrival In New Delhi

For your arrival at New Delhi International Airport , Meet Our Travelogy India representative and transfer to the hotel, New Delhi is the capital of India a city of more than 15 million inhabitants, it is where your North and South India tour package begins . Night in Delhi.

 

Day 2: In New Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel proceed for a full day tour of Old and New Delhi visiting – Red Fort, Friday Mosque – Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk Silver Street, Raj Ghat, Hindu Temple – Birla Mandir, The Gate of India, The Rashtrapati Bhawan – the President’s house, the tomb of Emperor Humayun, the Qutab Minar and the Bahá’í temple. Night in Delhi.

 

Day 3: New Delhi- Varanasi

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Varanasi. We meet you on your arrival in Varanasi and transfer to the hotel of your choice. In the afternoon sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting bathing ghats, Kashiviswanath Temple, Durgakund, Sankatmochan – Hanuman Monkey God Sanctuary. Overnight in Varanasi.

 

Day 4:Varanasi- Khajuraho

Early morning at sunrise boat ride on the Ganges River. After breakfast, transfer to the airport in time to board the flight for Khajuraho . Our Travelogy India representative is met upon arrival in Khajuraho and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Overnight in Khajuraho.

 

Day 5: Khajuraho – Jhansi Agra

Breakfast at the hotel we will proceed a sightseeing tour of Khajuraho in which we will visit the eastern and western group of temples. In the afternoon transfer to Jhansi railway station (180 Km / 04 hours), with time to board the Shatabdi Express (1756/2025 hours) for Agra. We meet you upon arrival in Agra and transfer to the hotel of your choice. We will spend the night in Agra.

 

Day 6: En Agra

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a city tour of Agra visiting the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. We will spend the night in Agra.s), with time to board the Shatabdi Express (1756/2025 hours) for Agra. We meet you upon arrival in Agra and transfer to the hotel of your choice. We will spend the night in Agra.

 

Day 7: Agra- Fatehpur Sikri Jaipur (235 Km/5 Hours)

After breakfast departure to Jaipur by road (250 kms / 05 hrs) en route we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital built in 1640 by the Mughal king, the great Akbar. The city was later abandoned due to lack of water. A magnificent example of Mughal architecture, it is perfectly preserved in the desert. We also visit the artistically designed Mausoleum of Salim Chisty who is reputed to have prayed for a son of Akbar leading to the birth of Salim Jehangir. From here we continue on a landscape drive to Jaipur. On arrival we check into our Hotel. Night in Hotel in Jaipur .

 

Day 8:In Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel proceed to a full day tour of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal – The Palace of Winds, the Jantar Mantar, the City Palace and the Amber Fort . Your tour includes a ride around the fortress on the back of an elephant. Accommodation in Jaipur

 

Day 9: Jaipur- Udaipur

After breakfast, departure to Udaipur by road (400 km / 6 ½ hours). Upon arrival in Udaipur, check-in at the hotel of your choice. Accommodation in Udaipur

 

Day 10: In Udaipur

Breakfast at hotel, Proceed tour of Udaipur and visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki bari. Evening sunset cruise on Lake Pichola . Overnight in Udaipur.

 

Day 11: Udaipur Aurangabad

After breakfast, transfer to the airport with time to board the flight for Aurangabad via Mumbai. He was met on his arrival in Aurangabad and transferred to the hotel of his choice. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Hotel in Aurangabad

 

Day 12: Aurangabad – Full Day For Ajanta Caves Excursion (107 Km)

In the morning we will drive to Ajanta Caves a World Heritage Site . One hundred and seventy kilometers northeast of Aurangabad are the remarkable rock monuments of Ajanta, which contain important examples of Buddhist architecture and sculpture, and what are undoubtedly the finest and most complete examples of early Buddhist painting in India.

The paintings that adorn the walls and ceilings of the caves depict incidents from the life of the Buddha and various Buddhist deities. Among the most interesting paintings are the Jakarta tales, which illustrate various stories related to the previous incarnations of the Buddha as Bodhisattavas, a holy being who is destined to become a Buddha.

Day 13: Aurangabad Mumbai (By The Flight)

In the morning we will visit the ELLORA CAVES, located about 18 kilometers from the city of Aurangabad, a group of rock temples, with a magnificent series of Buddhist, Brahmanic and Jain temples of the 9th century Kailash Temple, carved out of a single rock, Carved with life-size figures of gods and goddesses, it is a marvel. There are 34 caves, of which 12 are Buddhist, 17 Hindu and 5 Jain. We also visit Daulatabad Fort and Bibi-Ka-Maqbra – The Bibi-Ka-Maqbra (19°55’N; 75°15’E) is a beautiful mausoleum of Rabia-ul-Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum, the wife of the Mongol Emperor Aurangzeb (1658-1707). This mausoleum is believed to have been built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother between 1651 and 1661 AD

Later transfer to Aurangabad airport in time to catch the flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mumbai.

Day 14: In Mumbai

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India , Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens and Victoria Railway Station. After lunch (own expense), visit the Dhobi Ghat, a unique feature of Mumbai. In the afternoon we will pass through Marine Drive affectionately nicknamed as the queen of the necklace, because of the dramatic curve of its lampposts at night. You can stop at Chowpatty Beach, one of Mumbai’s most popular promenades and a favorite spot to watch the sunset. Night at the hotel. Overnight in Mumbai.

 

Day 15: Mumbai Cochin (By Flight)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight to Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Cochin (Kochi) The Gateway of South India. This beautiful coastal city is flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. The tour includes visits to the church of Fort Cochin and St. Frances to visit the city of Vasco da Gama. Jewish synagogue and the “Dutch” palace of Mattancherry. Also famous in Cochin (Kochi) are the Chinese fishing nets that attract tourists in large numbers.

In the evening enjoy Kathakali dance performance, a traditional Kerala dance form with luxurious costumes, exotic makeup, masks, etc. This is considered to be the king of theatrical performances. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 16: Cochin- Kumarakom (90 Km/ 02 Hours)

After breakfast, check out of hotel and drive to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Kumarakom village is a cluster of small islands in Vembanad Lake, and this little world of water is part of the Kuttanad region.

Later we will visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist’s paradise is a favorite haunt of migratory birds such as the Siberian Stork, Egret, Darters, Bitterns, Brahminy Kites, Marsh Harries, Teals and several varieties of Herons roost. A cruise along the Vembanad Lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. Return to the hotel, overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 17: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Backwater Excursion Via Sailing Boat To Alleppey)

After breakfast, check out of the resort and drive to the pier to board the boat. The day of the backwaters trip on the boat, through the enchanting tropical waters of Kumarakom by regattas (snake boats) for which Kerala is very famous, while sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow channels winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat little villages lined up along both sides of the canals are sights one will never forget. In the evening enjoy the sunset from the terrace of the houseboat, moving towards Alleppey . Night at the hotel.

 

Day 18: Alleppey – Varkala (120 Km: 3 Hours)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Varkala. Upon arrival, transfer to the resort. Varkala beach also famous for its scenic landscape, the contrast between the cliffs, the sand and the sea makes Varkala beach an enchanting sight. In the evening enjoy the sunset at Varkala beach, which is really impressive. Night at the resort.

 

Day 19:Varkala

After breakfast, the rest of the day is free to enjoy the activities on the beach. You can also enjoy herbal massage or body toning. Night at the resort.

 

Day 20: Varkala Trivandrum (51 Km / O1 Hours) – Delhi (By The Flight) – Towards Your Next Trip

After breakfast, the morning is free for leisure. Later check out from hotel and drive to Trivandrum airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for the journey ahead with happy memories of your vacation to India .

Day 1 : Arrival in New Delhi
As you arrive in Delhi , you will receive a warm welcome from our Travelogy India representatives who will transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. They would guide you on your travel program and deliver all the documents related to the tour. Relax at the hotel and spend the day indulging in leisure activities. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 : In New Delhi

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to enjoy a combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Starting with the drive to Old Delhi , where we will drive through the Red Fort built by Shah Jahan in the sixteenth century, when he moved to move his capital from Agra to Delhi .

Just opposite, we would visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, built by Shah Jahan. Right near Jama Masjid, we would explore the oldest local market of Chandni Chowk, where we would take a rickshaw ride through very narrow streets, spice market, colorful bazaars etc. From here, we would go by car through India Gate and the Palace of the President of India.

We would continue by car and arrive at Humayun’s Tomb which is known for its architectural beauty. Also visit the Qutub Minar – the tallest concrete structure in India at 74 meters in height, Mughal Emperor Humayun’s Tomb and the Lotus Temple (Bahia Temple). Overnight accommodation in Delhi.

 


Day 3 : Delhi – Agra (By Private Air Conditioned Car)

Today, after a leisurely breakfast at our hotel in Delhi, we would drive to our next destination, Agra , the city known for the Taj Mahal. We would enjoy a smooth ride through the Yamuna Express Highway which would take you to reach Agra in three hours. Upon your arrival in Agra, we would do a quick check-in at the hotel, and proceed to your rooms to shower and change clothes.

In the afternoon, we would come to the room, where our guide would be there to help us and we would proceed for sightseeing. Starting sightseeing of Agra Fort located on the banks of Yamuna. This fifteenth century fort is made of red sandstone by Emperor Akbar, where the Shah Jahan – the maker of the Taj Mahal was kept in prison.

Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-U-Daulah known as the ‘Taj Baby,’ as it was built of white marble like the Taj Mahal. At the end of the afternoon we headed towards the Taj Mahal, where we would jump into the Tonga, the horse cart that would take us to the main gate of the Taj Mahal, where we would start exploring the Taj Mahal on foot. Built in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is a true example of the love that Shah Jahan had for his wife. The guide would accompany us and give us the detailed information about the Taj Mahal.

 


Day 4 : Agra – Jaipur (By road approx. 235 kms. /04 hrs by car) en route visit of Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri – a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost city” that was the former capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and abandoned when its water supply failed. . Reach Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight accommodation in Jaipur.

 


Day 5 : Jaipur sightseeing

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit the majestic Amber Fort – Amber is the classic romantic palace fort of Rajasthan . He would take a ride on the elephants to the former royal capital set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Tourism continues. City Palace , Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal . For later you have the transfer to the railway station to board the train to Delhi. For your arrival, you would meet our representative and you have the transfer to the hotel. Overnight accommodation in Delhi.

 


Day 6 : Jaipur – Mumbai (By Flight)

Take an early morning flight to Mumbai and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay. This afternoon we will visit the Gateway of India. Drive past the Mumbai High Court and Victoria’s ornate terminus. Drive along the Marine Drive and visit the Hanging Gardens, offering a splendid view of the city.

 


Day 7 : Mumbai – Cochin (By Flight)

You have the morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Cochin. For your arrival in Cochin – it’s a vibrant city located on the southwestern coast of the peninsula in the stunningly picturesque and prosperous state of Kerala , hailed as “God’s Own Country.”

Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the gateway to Kerala. Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed to visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, this unique style of large cantilevered fishing nets, the Basilica of Santa Cruz, this historic church. And near the area around the synagogue, called Jew Town, is the center of spice and craft shops. Mattanchery Palace.

In the evening see Kathakali the famous dance drama of Kerala. This dance is characterized by telling a great story, incredible costumes and extensive makeup. Start early to see the artist getting ready for the show (5pm). Take a closer look at the worthwhile ritual of the hour-long make-up process as part of our daily Kathakali performance. After the performance, you would have a unique opportunity to take photos together with the performers in colorful costumes as a souvenir. All the performance would support you with English feedback. Overnight stay in Cochin.

 


Day 8 : Cochin – Kumarakom (By road approx. 65 kms./ 1 hour and a half by car)

Breakfast at hotel then drive to Kumarakom – Kumarakom is also one of the enchanting backwater regions of Kerala . The labyrinthine network of rivers, canals, streams and lagoons that make up the famous backwaters offer stunning views and is an ideal place to relax.

Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary situated on the banks of the backwaters and known for its diverse avian population. Local varieties such as waterfowl, cuckoos and owls, as well as migratory Siberian cranes can be seen here. Day trip to the bird sanctuary.

By your arrival and you have the transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

 


Day 9 : Kumarakom – Alleppey (By road approx. 40kms/01hr by car)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Alleppey. Upon arrival, transfer to Kettuvallam (Floating House). Cruise departure after lunch on board. Houseboats or “Kettuvalloms” are luxurious boats with well-appointed rooms and en-suite bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or gaze at the palm-fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it is the life along the coast that adds a touch of the exotic to this experience.

The locals travel by canoe and you would find vegetable vendors, fishermen and other merchants bringing items from home, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, rice paddies and other places. Overnight stay on board the houseboat / hotel.

 


Day 10 : Alleppey – Kovalam (By road approx. 160 kms/03 hrs by car)

Breakfast at the hotel go to Kovalam by car- a perfect tropical beach; A traditional fishing village offering fresh fish, fruit and toddy (coconut beer). Today this little beach is the focus of a multi-million dollar business, attracting thousands of tourists for a week’s dose of ozone, UV and a refreshing Indian experience. Kovalam is only 16 kms from Trivandrum. Today Kovalam beach is known as the “Paradise of the South.”

Day 12 : Kovalam – Trivandrum (By road approx. 15kms/30 minutes by car) – Departure

Day 1 : Arrival from Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and go to the hotel. Some of the interesting places included in the trip are the Chinese tulles to fish next to the Vasco De Gama square, the Basilica of Santa Cruz, the church of St. Francis, the VOC Gate, the Bastion Bungalow, etc. In the afternoon, we proceed for a city tour of Cochin which includes the Synagogue of the Jews, Mattancherry Palace, etc. Overnight in Cochin.


Day 2 : Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast, we leave for Munnar by road. It is 150 kilometers that are covered in 4 hours and on the way we enjoy the scenic beauty and wonderful waterfalls, high mountains while clouds pass, etc. Munnar is located at the confluence point of three mountain holes.

Day 6 : Thekkady to Kumarakom

Leave early in the morning after breakfast for Kumarakom by road. It is at 175 kilometers that are covered in 5 hours. Reach Kumarakom after seeing the beauty of Kerala’s traditional houses . The town of Kumarakom is a collection of small islands in the Vembanad Lake and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. Day 1 : Arrival from Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and you have transfer to hotel. You can rest in the hotel. Cochin has one of the best natural harbors. The backwaters that extend to the east and south from the port have a few small islands that arose as a result of alluvial deposits from the rivers. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (also known as Vembanad Bird Sanctuary) is situated in Kumarakom in Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala, on the shores of Vembanad Lake. Located in the backwater of Kerala the bird sanctuary is a favorite haven for migratory birds.

Currently, the bird sanctuary is managed by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation . The main attractions are local birds such as waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, heron, egret, cormorant, lorina, darter and brahminy kite, as well as the Siberian migratory crane. Parrot, Teal, Skylark, Flycatcher, and other birds are seen here during their respective migratory seasons. Some of the migratory birds come from the Himalayas, and some from Siberia.
